Charis Kids
Our Mission
This ministry exists to come alongside families by teaching their kids to reach out, raise up, and refine. The process in which we do that is by leading with love, teaching with truth, and serving with joy. We do this effectively by praying without ceasing and reading the Word.
Sunday Morning Programs
Nursery
This ministry is for our youngest children, ages 0-2 years. At this stage, volunteers interact with children to teach them basic social skills like sharing, kind words, calming techniques, and basic learning skills such as colors, shapes, animal sounds, and food names. This ministry allows parents to focus on their own worship time and encourages the little ones to interact with each other young children while under supervised care. This ministry offers childcare during the Sunday School hour and Service hour, so that parents do not need to disrupt their worship and fellowship time to retrieve their young children until after the Service.
Pre-K Class
This ministry is for toddlers ages 3- Kindergarten. At this stage, volunteers foster readiness skills through songs, games, crafts, and lessons. The children will be learning Bible lessons each week and following a curriculum designed to grow their young minds and souls. This ministry offers childcare during the Sunday School hour and the Service hour so that parents do not need to disrupt their worship and fellowship time to retrieve their young children until the Service has concluded.
Children's Worship
This ministry is for kids in 1st – 5th grade. The children begin with a Sunday School time which concludes around 9:45 when they join the adults in fellowship, prayer, and worship. Before the sermon begins, the children will be dismissed to their classes where they will learn from a curriculum designed to reach various levels of spiritual development. Children in these age groups have very diverse passions, abilities, and spiritual understandings so our lessons are diverse to reach the hearts and minds of each child! This class also includes song time and various hands-on activities to enhance learning. Seasonally, these classes may prepare for special programs which allow them to practice public speaking, acting, group singing, and foster other skills in the arts like creating costumes and set pieces.
Transparency & Safety
All of our children’s ministries are taught in full alignment with our Statement of Faith. We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and we welcome transparency—any parent may review our curriculum at any time. At the same time, we take safety seriously. Every volunteer who serves with children is background-checked, carefully vetted, and trained according to our church’s policies and procedures. When families entrust their children to our care, they can expect us to guard both sound doctrine and the physical and emotional well-being of every child to the best of our ability.
Awana Clubs
During the school year, join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM for Awana. This ministry motivates each child to memorize scripture at his/her own pace, teaches physical skills and teambuilding during game time, and encourages each child to grow in his/her relationship with Jesus during the lesson time. This program builds lifelong friendships between the kids and healthy relationships with group leaders.

Antioch Pulse – Young Adult’s Ministry
During the school year, join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 for a casual youth gathering. Our purpose is to build a fun community for young adults to grow, learn and follow Jesus.
M.A.P.S – Missionary Adventure Prayer Squad
M.A.P.S. stands for Missionary Adventure Prayer Squad – a kids’ program designed to connect children with real missionaries through fun, learning, and prayer. Kids learn where our missionaries serve, what they do, and how to support them spiritually. This program pursues the following three goals:

Seasonal Activities
Seasonal activities such as Christmas programs, Resurrection Sunday (Easter) programs, Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp Scholarships, and other opportunities for kids will be announced in advance with details on signup, schedules, and leadership.
